So, at my ultrasound last week, the doctor said that the baby is about 10 days ahead of schedule in terms of size and development... based on measurements (of the head, I think ) they estimate that the baby is already 4 pounds... yikes! I have more than 8 weeks to go, and that's a lot of growing time left. So, if this keeps up, he said they would consider inducing me 10 days early... or September 10th.
I think that might not be such a bad idea... that would satisfy the planner in me since I would know the date I'd go to the hospital, and it would be easier to make arrangements with work. We'll see. I have a bit of time still ahead of me, and maybe our gigantic baby will slow down a bit :)
We are headed out to the Hiller Family Reunion on Monday, but before that we have a wedding party for my friend Stephanie out in LA. I have known her since first grade, and am so excited to go see her! We will have quite a bit of traveling ahead of us though - as soon as we get back from LA we leave for South Dakota. But, I'm excited to do these trips while it's just me and Matt. Pretty soon it will be much more difficult to just pack up and leave.

Shannon, I am so jealous! I wish my Dr would tell us that we're actually 10 days ahead of schedule. (Who knows, maybe at my next appointment...but I doubt it.) Maybe we really can have our babies on the same day! We're due the 15th, but if your's holds off a few days, and ours decides to come early, they could be birthday twins!
I hope you guys have a great time on all of your upcoming trips. Enjoy your alone time while you've still got it! :)
