We went to visit the Johnsons before Christmas this year. The forecast called for rain every day, so we bought new winter coats and headed to Northern California for a crazy adventure. Even with movies, books, great snacks and lots of stops, road trips with four kids including a baby can be... a challenge. It takes us about 11-12 hours to get there, depending on how well we time poopy diapers with stops for food and gas.
This year we stayed with Erick and Megan while Matt and Alexis stayed with my parents - they were visiting from Alabama and had a long break from school. We overlapped their visit by a few days and got to meet their new baby Graham. What a cutie! We have three little cousins all within 3-4 months of each other. Can't wait until they can all play together!
