Halloween 2015

Just a great time this Halloween with our Pirate Crew - one of the warmest Halloween's on record in Southern Nevada. Plus it was the state's 150th anniversary on the same day - Happy Nevada Day! We usually get the last Friday of October off for the holiday, and this year it worked out to be on Halloween as well. Plus, I voted in the mid-term elections so it was pretty cool to show up on the state's birthday.

Anyway, I digress. Here are some pictures from our fun evening. We went to Betty's house for some spooky treats - witches eyes (deviled eggs), bones (breadsticks), bloody eyeballs (meatballs in marinara sauce), fingers (little smokies with crescent rolls) and more. We went trick or treating around her neighborhood and then to ours - I stayed at home for the second round and gave out candy, but it was late and only a few groups stopped by.

Now it's time to sort candy, take out the mom/dad tax, and bring the rest to work! :)
