UNLV vs. San Diego State

Matt and I went to the sold out UNLV men's basketball game on Saturday - I don't know what we were thinking, but we only gave ourselves about 45 minutes to get to the game and park. It was a madhouse. But it was nice to see some school spirit and genuine excitement over a good sports team at UNLV (not a regular occurrence), so we tried to not have road rage.

It was a great game - close the entire first half, then UNLV took a strong lead in the second half. Only to then have the Rebels not score for 5 whole minutes, letting San Diego State back into the game.


But they held on in the end, with UNLV stealing the ball on the last San Diego possession with just a few seconds to go, winning the game. This is hard to read - taken from our seats and with my phone - but the score is 65 to 63.
