Mammoth Cave

It was muddy, kind of scary, but pretty cool inside the Mammoth Cave, a short drive from Kevin and Cindy's cabin. A few slips in the mud resulted in tears, but other than that everyone was safe. We didn't venture into the main part of the cave since it was very muddy and you had to crawl through certain sections to get to the open rooms. I don't fancy myself a spelunker in any sense of the word, especially with a 15 month old to cart around. We did walk through the upper part of the cave, all of which was formed by a lava tube. The whole surrounding area has lava rocks everywhere.

This is the hole that you climb out of at the end - I'm ok walking above ground for this trek.
